Recycling at Trans-Jordan

Recycling Drop Off

Residential customers will be able to drop off the following recycling materials at Trans-Jordan free of charge provided recyclable material is clean, sorted by the customer into the appropriate bins, and cardboard is broken down.

Recycable materials that do not meet the requirements above will be considered trash and charged accordingly.

  • All metals – including radiators
  • White Goods (washers, dryers, hot water heaters)
  • Fridges and Freezers will be charged and additional fee for freon removal

    All food must be removed from Fridges and Freezers by the customer

  • Plastic Bottles and Jugs with Necks
  • Steel Cans
  • Cardboard (does not include packing materials)
    *Cardboard must be broken down by customer

  • Aluminum cans
  • Paperboard
  • Mixed Paper
  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Glass bottles & jars (clear, brown, and green glass accepted. All colors in one bin)

     

Electronic Recycling

Due to complications with hauling and labor shortages our Electronic Recycling has been suspended until further notice.

If you wish for your electronics to be recycled you can visit the Salt Lake County HHW facility at the Salt Lake Valley Landfill.
