Currently the following member cities (Draper and Midvale) have opted to stick with the “BIG 3”.
Paper can still be recycled but collecting it in a single stream / curbside program causes “contamination” and makes it difficult to find viable markets who will take the material.

The top contaminants that CANNOT be recycled in your curbside container include:
- Paper and Paperboard
- Plastic Bags
- Needles/Biohazardous Waste
- Wire, hose, cords, rope & chains
- Propane Tanks
- Yard Waste/Wood
- Motor Oil Containers
- Food Waste
- Mercury Containing Objects
